Alberto Kavadellas has been training with Kamon since 1997. He trained at the Portsmouth class with Master Kevin Chan where he attained his black belt level 1 in 2005. Alberto taught the weekend session in Portsmouth from 2000 until 2007 when he moved to Brighton. Alberto is fully committed to the Kamon Wing Chun system and has put it to the test many times working as a doorman for 4 years in both Portsmouth and Brighton.
The Hove class has been run by Alberto since 2008 at the Rox school of dance which is conveniently located behind Hove railway station. The Hove class is small and every student gets the personal attention of the instructor while training in a friendly and relaxed environment. At the Hove class you will learn both the complete Kamon Wing Chun system as well as how to apply it effectively as a street level form of self defense. The explosive power and simplicity of Kamon Wing Chun means that it can be learnt and applied effectively. Alberto teaches this through extensive training in the basics while students are beginners, then introduces more advanced techniques.
Please come and watch a class, or if you prefer, join in for a lesson to experience it for yourself. We train once a week on a Monday from 18:30 till 20:00 for £38 with the provision to train at other classes as well for the upgraded fee of £42.
